What a great word that is - it resonates with me - the cancer journey really teaches you a think about having to stay present as there is too much to cope with otherwise but it also teaches you to see life as a present- Love that you chose it. Wishing you all the best, health and happiness for 2025 - loves, nat
So many great meanings. "Present in Latin means Prae esse, before be. Before being, what is there? I still need to wrap my head around this one but I like it and I'm sure it'll show up next year somehow." Fun to be with the mystery of that one. I wish you well in living into your chosen word, Miranda. Bright blessings.
A couple weeks ago the word "grace" came to me for my word for 2025. I wrote about it in my recent post. I choose my word by what I want to learn for the year, knowing that it may also include the flip-side of the word. 2024 was "connection". Not only did I make some connections, to myself and spirit as well, but I grieved the loss of some connections.
Ohh I do love this and so glad you shared the idea.
My word for 2025 is Hope
You're welcome. I've been choosing a word of the year since 2009 and it's made all the difference! 😘 happy new year! Hope is a lovely word!

I like choosing a word of the year and looking back to see how it unfolded. This year was Terraform.
